MEET THE DOCTORS

RON J. YANG, D.D.S., M.A.G.D

Dr. Ron J. Yang grew up in Taiwan, where he attended Kaohsiung Medical University.

In 1984 he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Wisconsin.

He has been practicing at the Mission Valley Dental Center in Fremont, California for over 30 years. 

With years of experience, Dr. Yang's mastery of general dentistry includes implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry,

oral surgery, periodontics, pedodontics, and laser surgery. In August of 2001,

Dr. Ron J. Yang was one of the four California general practitioners to be awarded the prestigious Mastership of the

Academy of General Dentistry.  

At the 2011 International Congress of Oral Implantology Prosthetics Symposium in Chicago, he presented an award

winning poster presentation of a novel method for simple and accurate implant surgical guide fabrication.

He continued on to earn the highest Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Placing high value on personal care and attention for his patients, Dr. Yang utilizes the latest in dental technology and

technique.

To stay up to date, Dr. Yang attends numerous advanced continuing education courses and employs these new methods and

techniques to provide his patients with the best dental care.

He is an active member of the American Dental Assocation,California Dental Association,Southern Alameda Dental Society,

Orthodontics of the United States Dental Institute, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Yang is very involved within the Chinese community and well known in Mission San Jose, as well as Fremont,CA.

Dr. Yang and his wife, Taiyen, reside with their two sons in Pleasanton, CA. Dr. Yang enjoys traveling, music, sports and

golfing in his free time.

Justin Shih, D.D.S.

Dr. Justin Shih is a Fremont native and a Mission San Jose High School Alumni. 

He studied at the University of California, San Diego where he earned his B.S degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. 

Afterwards he earned his D.D.S. degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry with 11 course honors in various disciplines in 

dentistry and an excellent record of patient care.

Dr. Shih strives to deliver the best possible treatments while taking care to provide an outstanding patient experience. 

He believes there is no better feeling than having a patient leave satisfied after a comfortable and well-done procedure.

Dr. Shih is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Assocation, and Southern Alameda County Dental

society. 

His hobbies include travelling, piano, guitar, juggling, and table tennis.
